On the 9 October 2008, SNH in association with Scottish Government, Scottish Government Improvement Services, SEPA, SNIFFER, Transport Scotland, AD+S, CoSLA and RTPI  is holding an event: "Turning existing spaces into sustainable places: the role of planning and infrastructure"

This event will give practitioners a fresh perspective on how to create sustainable places.  There will be a particular emphasis on working with existing places and communities.

The event is aimed at practitioners and decision makers including: planners; engineers; architects; landscape architects and health managers in government agencies; local authorities; business; building industry; consultancy and the voluntary sector.
