Climate Ready Clyde Project Manager

Based in Glasgow, UK
Vacancy Details: 35 hours per week, salary up to £45,000 per annum commensurate with skills and experience. The appointment is for one year with the intention to continue for a further two years subject to funding. Secondment opportunities will be considered where possible.
Description: An exciting new position has become available, to establish and deliver a new regional ‘Climate Ready Clyde’ Partnership. This is a collaborative stakeholder approach to addressing climate change. A key initial focus will be to develop the partnership model and working arrangements, to prepare a major EU Life Fund bid, and to work with partners to develop the Regional Strategy and Action Plan.
For this position you will have a good honours degree or equivalent in natural sciences, economics or planning. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant technical subject area to include project development/ delivery, stakeholder engagement and partnership building. An understanding of climate impacts and risk assessment is highly desirable.
