Resilience to climate change starts where we live, work and play. Scotland can only become more resilient to a changing climate when its communities are at the heart of addressing the issues, identifying solutions and taking action.
Key questions are how can we climate proof work on community infrastructure or organisations, and how can communities best access support to become climate ready?
Scotland's communities face a number of challenges and opportunities from a changing climate. Over recent years extreme weather events have had wide-ranging impacts. We are taking a leadership role on climate change adaptation and community engagement.
Sniffer's approach is to identify and understand communities' needs, maximising their talents and resources, support self-reliance, building resilience and concerting efforts to deliver integrated services for better results.
