End of year review
The end of a year is always a good time to step back and reflect on what we have acheived in the last 12 months. For Sniffer a stand-out message from 2012 is the strength, breadth and reach of our partnerships.
Building on a strong track record we have initiated and been involved in a number of new partnerships and co-delivery mechanisms , despite the tight economic climate. Some examples in 2012 include:
- Working with Joseph Rowntree Foundation on climate justice
- Facilitating the Strathclyde Loch restoration project for the Commonwealth games with local authorities, agencies and communities.
- The ground-breaking Climate Ready Clyde project with over 40 businesses, organisations and community interests involved in creating a vision and an action plan for climate adaptation in the Clyde valley.
These are just three of our many partnerships, involving national and local government, large and small businesses, community groups and charities. Together we bring a variety of skills and approaches to making Scotland more resilient.
So Sniffer is in a strong position for 2013. Our partnerships network will grow and strengthen, taking unexpected turns and coming up with ideas and solutions none of us would have been able to deliver in isolation. We look forward to it!
The Sniffer team wishes all our partners and contacts a very happy Christmas and a prosperous new year!
