What does adaptation look like?
Adaptation Scotland launches Climate Ready Places web resource
What does a climate ready Scotland look like? This is the question the Climate Ready Places project gives answers to. It takes six ‘typical Scottish places’ and looks at the threats and opportunities Scotland’s changing climate poses, and the actions home owners, communities, businesses and organisations can take to be climate ready.
The Climate Ready Places project gathered people working on adaptation across Scotland, and in many different sectors, to generate ideas relating to adaptation challenges in six typical Scottish places – Uplands, Lowlands, Coast, Infrastructure, Suburbs and City. The aim of the web resource is to get people thinking about Scotland becoming climate ready. What would we do? What would it look like?
The result is an impressive collection of ideas in an interactive resource for any individual or group wanting to explore climate adaptation ideas.
