Putting CAMERAS into focus

Dec

2011

SNIFFER continues to progress a communications and facilitation programme for the Scottish Government initiative - Coordinated Agenda for Marine, Environment, and Rural Affairs Science (CAMERAS).  A comprehensive series of awareness-raising events commenced roll out across Scotland in October, with the intention of embedding the CAMERAS initiative within its partner organisations.

Work is also being carried forward to develop a series of “best practice” guides, covering key areas – including: dealing with risk and uncertainty; evidence informing policy; and successful collaborative working - relevant to the cooperative and shared working agenda being progressed by CAMERAS.  These will inform an event – to be held in spring 2012 – intended to help shape the future development of the CAMERAS initiative.
