  We have a 15 year track record of identifying, managing and delivering research within the environmental policy arena. More recently we have widened our expertise to cover a broader range of knowledge management activities and to ensure that our work areas recognise the importance of economic and societal issues.
• Partnership working
  SNIFFER's key strength is in building partnerships, identifying synergies where research and knowledge exchange can best be delivered across organisations and facilitating debate between different sectors. We are well positioned to act as a catalyst for partnership working and to undertake and manage these activities including across government bodies and agencies, between public sector, private sector and the academic community research since 2003.

  By providing a bridge between stakeholders (within and between organisations), and a bridge across disciplines SNIFFER is effective in delivering evidence and helping to support policy development and implementation.

By providing professional facilitation, research management and procurement services we enable our members and other partners to free up their internal resource for their core business.

  Through SNIFFER’s awareness of relevant policy drivers research initiatives and stakeholder interests across the UK, we enable activities to be positioned within a wider context, ensuring we make the most of synergies and external funding opportunities and, where appropriate, link into European and national agendas to make use of knowledge generated elsewhere.

  SNIFFER's independence enables us to facilitate discussions and explore opportunities and knowledge gaps and manage sensitive issues from a neutral platform.
