Climate Change - Read More

SNIFFER works with its members to provide up to date and informative data on recent trends in the climates of Scotland and Northern Ireland, predicted future impacts and recommended adaptation measures. We are increasingly taking forward work that contributes to the overall picture of greenhouse gas emissions in the UK to inform the challenge of achieving our future emissions reduction targets.

SNIFFER provides the coordinating function for two partnerships:

We also manage several collaborative research projects on climate change within both the environmental regulation and climate change topic areas.

Partnership is key to delivering our commitments to reduce climate change and to prepare for its unavoidable impacts. SNIFFER aspires to add value by facilitating partners to deliver common objectives through sound project management, knowledge transfer and capacity building. We are currently developing our strategic plans for 2009-2012. Please contact Vanessa Kind for further details.
