Sniffer is looking to appoint a training provider to deliver an in-person facilitation course in Edinburgh for our staff. We envisage 15 people taking part in this training.

Please note that we have identified  10 and  17 April 2024 as our preferred dates.

Background

Sniffer is a Scottish charity that acts as a catalyst, fostering collaboration across sectors and places to ensure transformation towards a flourishing and fairer future for all in a changing climate.

Structure of the Course

 Facilitation 101 

  • Theory of facilitation
  • Methods of facilitation – including design and delivery of sessions
  • Tools and techniques
  • Capturing outputs and learning
  • Creating a “Sniffer style” of facilitation

Facilitating processes and collaborations 

  • Facilitating processes, strategic collaborations and relationships for the longer term
  • Deriving meaning from our facilitated processes
  • Using facilitation to drive transformative change
  • Intersections with mediation, dialogue and conflict resolution
  • The psychology of good facilitation

Trainer Role

We are looking for an experienced provider who specialises in facilitation training to deliver an in-person course for Sniffer staff in Edinburgh. We want to work with providers who support our values and are collaborative, ethical, and sustainable, ideally with an understanding of social/climate justice and how to drive transformational change.
